High School
Our high school program is thoughtfully designed to prepare our students for post-secondary life. The upper school years emphasize leadership, self discovery, and the importance of responsibility. Core subjects continue to be taught within the pedagogy of a multi-sensory approach. Weekly executive function concepts are highlighted and extended into facilitated study labs. The curriculum, paired with a block schedule, allows students to dive deeper into their learning in longer class periods.
The new High School program will add a career track for students interested in community college, technical school, vocational rehabilitation, and inclusive college programs. Courses will allow students to discover interests and abilities to better develop practical skills for future careers.
Graduates of the Tampa Pinnacle Academy High School program have the opportunity to earn a General Studies Diploma. This document is awarded to students who have completed appropriate courses selected to prepare them for a career in a chosen field and courses that have been modified in content to meet the student’s specific learning needs.
